Gorgeous Hans Fahden Wedding | Wine Country Floral Design

Thursday, April 7, 2011 at 5:38PM I was just thrilled to get an email from Adi Nevo today letting me know she had some photos for me from this really pretty wedding we worked on together last year at Hans Fahden Winery in Calistoga. I always love getting new images, and thought you, my dear readers, might appreciate some new eye candy too! The wedding was last August, and as you can imagine, it was very hot up in the Calistoga mountains. Lucky for the gorgeous Bride and her happy Groom, we constructed a beautiful chuppah, made from branches and adorned with flowers in bright oranges and purples for them to stand under and take refuge from the sun. The reception, held in the awesome wine cave (a cave actually carved into the side of the mountain!) was a nice, cool, refreshing change from the bright sun and summer warmth outside. I just love the ambiance of the dark cave, with tons of candle light. Abby and Bill chose to use the candelabras provided by Hans Fahden, but we adorned them with greenery and clusters of flowers, which spilled down onto the table. For the Head Table, we created a beautiful low, lush centerpiece so that all their guests could gaze at the happy couple and take photos of them, without a candelabra in the way of their smiling faces. Enjoy the photos!! I certainly am!

Loved the bright hues of purple and golden orange…
