Color Palettes We Love: Pink! | Spring Weddings | Floral Design

Well, I had this fabulous blog post all done for the Color Palettes We Love series, with lots of witty narrative, many, many Very Important Thoughts on floral design, etc., and more importantly, tons of images. Perhaps too many images, because when I hit “publish” it uploaded my text, but not the images!! Somehow the pictures disappeared, and since the eye candy really is the most important part of the article, I decided to scrap it. After nearly throwing my laptop through the window calming down, I was swept up by my other duties as Mom…and now weeks have passed. Sigh. I am going to try it again, but an abridged version. Mostly, I’ll just try to upload some of these vignettes I’ve put together,  and let you guys be tickled…pink!

One thing I love about pink is that it is very versatile. Depending on what complimentary colors you choose, the textures, and the style of design, pink can range from romantic and traditional to modern, whimsical and anything along the way…

These “blushing” Brides took the more soft and sophisticated, traditional route with the pink palettes…

And nothing is more sassy and contemporary than a monochromatic hot pink design. Add some lime green, and it gets even better.
