How Did This Slip By Me? | Carneros Inn Wedding Featured on Style Me Pretty

I was trolling through the Style Me Pretty site the other day, looking for something else entirely, when I laid my eyes on this real wedding from 2009. Yes, we did the floral design. So, even though the feature is not a new one, it is new to me and I was so excited to see these gorgeous images by the always amazing Lisa Lefkowitz. 

One thing I remember about this wedding (besides the lovely color palette of creams, peach,coral, lime and pink) was how HOT it was that day. I am so glad to see in the photos that our flowers (and the beautiful bride) kept from wilting! It was definitely one of those cases where my staff was waiting in the air-conditioned van with the ceremony flowers up until the very last minute, and then we ran around frantically spraying every bloom down with cool water right until the first guest stepped foot onto the lawn—and then we hid ourselves away to go sweat out the ceremony. Gotta love it. When you work in this industry, you have to be prepared for whatever Mother Nature decides to throw at you: Rain, wind, and 100+ degree heat! It’s our job to worry about it though, so the Bride doesn’t have to, and I’m so pleased to see from the photos that everything did look as flawless as I remember, and, it all came together beautifully.
